When news of the massive Twitch data leak broke, along with streamers' payouts ended the endmost two years, most of the creators it affected were sound asleep. It's challenging to gauge how people wish react when they'atomic number 75 not actually around to see what's happening.

But as the sun rises in the States and streamers have been waking up to the leak, the mood so far is unbelievably tingle—I'd even read it borders happening indifferent. It's perhaps unsurprising that a bunch of relatively well-heeled creators aren't too bothered about you knowing that they're financially comfortable.

See many

As Jacksepticeye and Alanah Pearce charge out, top Twitch streamers making a great deal of money isn't exactly news at this point. "The strangest thing about people being shocked to learn how a good deal certain Twitch streamers accept earned is that the selective information has ever been publicly available," Pearce tweeted. "Other companies *do* try to keep it a secret, simply Flip never has."

HasanAbi also poked fun at people acting surprised OR angry at the money streamers earn. "Just woke equal to some fun news," atomic number 2 tweeted. "Can't wait for ppl to make up mad more or less my publicly available sub count again." While not every streamers have their endorser count always visible on-stream like-minded Hasan, those numbers are mostly pretty easy to get on ahold of already.

Besides that, the energy surrounding the leak is largely just streamers poking fun at each other and themselves ripe now. Some of the big streamers to top the list ilk TommyInit, Ranboo and Sodapoppin are simply goofing around, with Tommy and Sodapoppin facetiously inflating their wealth.

See Sir Thomas More

It's understandable that these streamers aren't particularly mad—with pockmarked reader counts easily accessible and most viewers already being aware of their wealth, there's non exactly much for them to cost hot under the collar about. The Thomas More intriguing things to come with out of Squeeze's massive hack have to make up evidence of a competitor to Steam, along with a VR chat game.

Mollie Taylor

A fresh writer in the manufacture, Mollie has been taken under Personal computer Gamer's RGB-laden wing, making positive she doesn't get adequate too much mischief on the site. She's non quite sure what a Command & Conquer is, merely she can rattle off on for hours about whol the isolated musical rhythm games and strange MMOs from the 2000s. She's been preparation up all manner of news, previews and features while she's been Here, but peculiarly enjoys when she gets to write about Terminal Fancy, Persona, The Sims, and any other game she's currently hopelessly fixated on. There's a good chance she's boring another PC Gamer writer about her latest obsession arsenic we speak.
